While we are all trying to get our feet wet in this exploration of blogging sites, I guess it would make the most sense to write the same blog on each site. (Well, copy and paste the same blog, as it were ...)
I still go faithfully to Multiply (not in the Biblical sense), each day ... although I don't write very often.
I stumble my way to Xanga ... and I still find it friendlier than Blogger ...
And then I find my way here. I really don't understand Blogger at all, but some of you are here and I don't want to lose you.
So what does this bring, for today? Well, no mention of my hair style troubles, as expressed on Xanga yesterday. Something less than my continual whine that "I can't understand Blogger!!"
It's just me, hoping that this will post ... and that we can find a way to make this all work.

I'm liking Blogster more than xanga as far as privacy goes. I still prefer Blogger (here) for regular writings because I really don't trust social sites to last. I have been playing with xanga but just don't like the privacy offered there, Blogster allows friends only... I don't know. It's a mess. I do know I will be keeping my writing here, I just don't know where I will go yet socially. I need to know my personal posts will be safe, you know how I am with my privacy:( I wish multiply had stayed open. And honestly I'm rooting for this new multiply site to take off, although I'm not holding out total hope. UG.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that once I understand even half of what I'm trying to do, here, that Blogger will be fine for me. As far as I know, I have it set to "public" for now. If I ever blog about anything important to me, I'll have privacy settings in place.
ReplyDeleteAnd double-hah! I figured out how to read your comment and then reply to you!! Yay!
ReplyDeletei woke up to an invitation on multiply. turns out it was to a group called the death of multiply. reading through some of the posts has made me feel a bit depressed again. i went looking at blogster the other day because i've been seeing it mentioned. i don't like their tos and will not join it. i know most tos's are pretty much the same, but the tone of it just irked me too much. i'm not a child and i don't appreciate being talked to like one.
ReplyDeletelooking at something called yuku right now.
sigh. I hope we all find a good home ...
ReplyDeleteNow I sound like we all need to be adopted ...
